Three lines that probably describe where you are right now
“I use ChatGPT a few times a week, but I always feel like I’m scratching the surface.”
“Every time I try to go deeper, it’s another tool, another model, another guru — and I never end up actually using any of them.”
“I keep thinking AI should be helping me with my real life — admin, decisions, the kid’s paperwork — and somehow it’s still mostly just answering trivia.”
If any of those land — keep reading. The bootcamp is built for exactly that gap.
Why most “learn AI” programs don’t stick
Most programs teach you AI like it’s information: here’s the tool, here’s a prompt, good luck. You watch the videos, nod along, and a week later you’re back to typing the same three questions into the same chatbot.
That’s because AI doesn’t actually start working for you until it knows you. Your context. Your family. Your projects. Your language. Your preferences. Your week. Without that, every conversation starts from scratch and you end up doing all the work yourself.
The Augmented Mind Bootcamp is a 6-week walked-through process to give your AI the context to actually help — and to install it as a steady part of your daily rhythm. Not a chatbot you visit. A presence you live alongside.
What you’ll build over six weeks
-
Set up your “life folder”
A simple, private folder on your computer (or in the cloud — your choice) where your AI can read the things that matter: voice memos, key documents, family details, your projects. The foundation everything else sits on.
-
Teach your AI who you are
Your AI learns your preferences, your tone, your family, your languages, your week. By the end of week 2 it stops giving generic answers.
-
Hand over the admin
Forms, healthcare portals, immigration paperwork, customer service chats. The stuff that drains hours every month. By the end of week 3 your AI is doing it with you, not you alone.
-
A thinking partner that decides with you
Translation across languages. Second opinions. Weighing options. The “let me think out loud about this” conversations you used to have only with yourself.
-
A memory that doesn’t forget
Pull last summer’s photos into a story. Reconstruct the weekend you can’t quite remember. Find the email about that thing from two years ago. AI as long memory, not just short answers.
-
AI in your steady weekly rhythm
Weekly check-ins. Family logistics. Content. The “this is just how I work now” stage where the AI fades into the background and the work goes faster.
By week 6, you’ll have a working setup you actually use — across your week, your work, and your real life.
What Fred actually uses AI for, every week
Symbiosis isn’t AI assisting humans. It’s humans operating AI that has actual context on their life. Below are ten of the setups Fred runs every week against the markdown of his own life. By the end of the bootcamp you’ll have your own equivalents.
- Weekly orientation. Pulls calendars, daycare, voice memos, life context into one weekly board. Sunday-night clarity in 5 minutes.
- Kids logistics. Daycare schedules, hobby tracking, school messages — three kids, three schedules, one view.
- Family health. Lab values, exercise, sleep, monthly check-ins for everyone in the household. Patterns over time, not just today’s number.
- Meal planning. Picks the week’s meals, generates the grocery order, tracks the recipes your family actually likes.
- Financial portfolio. Investments, accounts, holding-company structure (if you have one) — one place, kept current.
- Annual taxes. Pre-filled return reviewed, deductions surfaced, capital income reconciled. Hours of work, minutes with your AI.
- Biography. Wrote a father’s 75th-birthday biography from voice memos and family records collected over six months across relatives. Cross-referenced, fact-checked.
- Helping an elderly parent. Bills, portals, password resets, customer-service chats — with the AI doing the typing in the language they don’t speak.
- Estate administration. Inheritance paperwork, estate inventory, funeral planning — for a close relative who recently passed. The hardest admin in the worst week of your life, scaffolded.
- Life engineering. The soft layer — partnership, feelings, energy management, big life choices. AI as the thinking partner you used to only have with yourself.
The pattern: AI that knows enough about your life to actually help. Not better answers — better outcomes.
The bootcamp doesn’t make you copy Fred’s setup. It teaches you the underlying recipe and ships you the templates — you adapt them to your life: your family, your country, your work, your week.

After that you can subscribe (or not) via the optional Augmented Mind Club below.
Value: $397
Bonus #6
Async Cohort Community
Private async-only space. Share what’s working, ask questions, see other people’s setups. No live calls. No timezone politics. Just other people building their own version of this, alongside you.
Value: $147
The promise
30-day full refund — outcome-bound
Show up. Set up the life folder, do weeks 1–4. If your AI doesn’t know more about your life by day 30 than it did before you started — full refund. No screenshots, no forms, no questions.
Bonuses alone: $1,632 in value. Bootcamp + every bonus: $695 one-time. Or 3 × $250.
What you don’t need
- Any coding background. None. The bootcamp uses Claude or ChatGPT — the chat apps you probably already use.
- A new computer. Your current laptop or desktop is fine.
- A subscription beyond what you might already have. A $20/month Claude or ChatGPT Plus subscription is the only ongoing cost.
- An hour every day. Plan on 1–2 hours per week for the lessons, plus normal use of your AI as you go.
Will it actually help?
We don’t promise specific numbers. People who have done similar setups (including Fred himself) report things like:
“I used to lose half a Saturday on family admin. Now it’s 30 minutes.”
“I can finally write the things I’ve been meaning to write for years.”
“My partner asked me how I’m doing all of this and I had to think about it. AI is just doing some of it now.”
“I stopped feeling guilty for not ‘keeping up’ with AI. I just started using it.”
If after 30 days it’s not helping you — full refund. No questions. No “show us your screenshots.” Just refund.

FAQ
Is this for me if I’m already using ChatGPT a lot?
Yes — that’s the most common starting point. Heavy ChatGPT users hit a ceiling because the AI doesn’t know them. The bootcamp is mostly about closing that gap.
Is this for me if I’m not technical at all?
Yes. There’s no coding. You’ll be working in the chat apps you already use, plus a simple folder on your computer.
Mac, Windows, Linux?
All three work. The setup is platform-agnostic — anywhere you can keep a folder of files and use a web browser.
How is this different from a HeyGen avatar or a custom GPT?
A HeyGen avatar looks and sounds like you on video. A custom GPT is one chatbot trained on a few documents. The Augmented Mind setup is your AI knowing your life in a way that compounds week over week — it can pull in your photos, your voice memos, your documents, your week. It works across every chat you have.
What if I miss a week?
Lessons are async. Watch when it works for you. The cohort runs 6 weeks but the materials stay yours forever.
Can I share this with my partner / family member / business partner?
Each person should enroll separately so they can build a setup customized to their life. Group discounts are available — write to Fred.
Will my data be safe?
Your “life folder” lives on your own computer (or your own cloud — you choose). The AI you use (Claude, ChatGPT) sees only what you ask it to. There’s no Augmented Mind-controlled cloud. Your data is yours.
What if I’m overwhelmed by tech in general?
The bootcamp is built for that. Each week has one thing to set up, one thing to try, and one outcome to walk through. If you can use email and a web browser, you can do this.
What if I want to go further afterwards — into running multiple AI agents in parallel, automating bigger workflows?
That’s the next step up — Fred runs a separate AgentHerder Bootcamp for people who want to scale into a fleet of parallel AI agents. The Augmented Mind Bootcamp is the on-ramp; AgentHerder is the destination if you want to take it further. Many people will be perfectly happy stopping at Augmented Mind.
What if I have a refund question after 30 days?
After 30 days the bootcamp is non-refundable. The 30-day window is firm but generous — that’s enough to do weeks 1–4 and decide.
How does this fit with the AgentHerder Bootcamp?
Augmented Mind = “AI as a steady presence in your life and work.” AgentHerder = “manage a fleet of AI agents like a professional.” If you don’t know which one is for you, start with Augmented Mind. You can always step up later.
About Fred
Fred Wollsén is a software engineer based in Helsinki who has been working at the frontier of human-AI collaboration for over a decade. He’s currently coaching engineering teams at cybersecurity firms (F‑Secure, DNV Cyber) on AI‑native engineering practices, and runs his own life — family of four, multilingual, expat life, kids’ schools, healthcare in three countries — with the same AI setup the bootcamp will install for you.
He’s not a guru. He’s a practitioner who built this for himself first, then realized other people kept asking how to set it up.
Founder of Remember This (the capture layer this bootcamp uses) and My Transcriber (the voice-memo companion). Speaking on Human-AI Symbiosis at GOSIM AI Vision Forum Paris, May 2026. Author of The AI-Native Engineering Playbook (1,121 reads).
One last thing
If you’ve been putting this off because you weren’t sure where to start — the bootcamp is the start. If you’ve already tried a few things and they didn’t stick — the bootcamp is the structure that makes it stick. If you’re already deep in but feel like you’re scratching the surface — the bootcamp is the depth.
Six weeks. One setup. AI that knows your life.
